Excellence in Oral Clinical Presentation Award:
Emmanuel Pelington
We are excited to congratulate Emmanuel Pelingon, RVT, Senior Vascular Technologist in the Vascular Diagnostic Laboratory, for receiving the prestigious, “Excellence in Oral Clinical Presentation Award” on 21 June 2024.
Emmanuel’s case report, titled, ‘Hemodialysis-Induced Central Venous Occlusion Masquerading as Caput Medusa’ highlighted a rare clinical case of bilateral central vein occlusions in haemodialysis patients. His outstanding presentation outshone six other presenters at the Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) 2024 Conference & Marketplace in McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois, USA, during the D.E Strandness Scientific Session.
