At the third JHC LIVE session of the year on 4 September, A/Prof Dan Yock Young, CEO, NTFGH and JCH, reflected on the institution's accomplishments over the past months. Key milestones included winning the National Healthcare Innovation and Productivity (HIP) Award, welcoming Clinical A/Prof Low Shiong Wen as our new CMB in July, and honouring our nurses who received the prestigious Nurses' Merit Award. In August, we hosted the NUHS National Day Observance Ceremony and the inaugural "Let's Connect with the Community - Block Party" in Jurong East, and we ended August with the completion of the OneNUHS Employee Engagement and Wellbeing Surveys.

A/Prof Dan also shared insights from the ongoing Jurong Conversation, which involved 17 engagement sessions with over 300 staff, generating 99 pieces of feedback and suggestions. The focus is on four pillars: ReDesign (work conditions, training, opportunities), ReImagine (processes), ReOrganise (workflow), and Reconnect (people and culture). Emphasising the importance of these areas, he assured staff that Senior Leaders are dedicated to making JurongHealth Campus a better place for all and encouraged everyone to actively shape our future.

An innovative work redesign by the AHPs was also showcased, which integrated QR codes and hyperlinks for patient education materials into the NGEMR system, improving patient access and saving printing costs.

A/Prof Dan went on to announce the winners of the 15th Anniversary Exhibition Quiz, followed by Joshua Goh, Senior Assistant Manager, Communications, who shared more details on the upcoming Dinner & Dance. The session concluded with a Q&A, addressing topics like appropriate staff attire and Work-From-Home arrangements.

After the Auditorium session, staff enjoyed a delicious buffet prepared by our Food Service team, as well as live stations serving Nonya laksa and satay. CEO and CMB surprised everyone by serving at the Nonya laksa live station, delighting many staff members who requested photo opportunities with them.
