JHC’s 2024 Employee Engagement Survey Results

The OneNUHS Employee Engagement Survey (EES), first introduced in 2019, continues to serve as a valuable platform for staff to share feedback and insights, enabling management to craft action plans that enhance the workplace experience and strengthen engagement.

The results for 2024 Employee Engagement Survey (EES) are in, thanks to YOUR participation! A total of 3,403 staff participated in EES24, achieving an impressive participation rate of 93%, up from 2,888 staff in 2022.​​​

The result of the survey reflects a significant positive shift in staff sentiment. Here’s a look at the key highlights and areas of focus moving forward.

Strong Engagement and Positive Trends

A notable achievement in the 2024 survey is the increase in the Sustainable Engagement Index, which stands at 86%, marking a 6% rise since 2022. This upward trend aligns JHC with the broader NUHS standards.

These numbers highlight a team that is not only engaged but also driven by a shared sense of purpose.

Empowerment, Teamwork, Culture Index and Well-being

The survey highlights a positive environment where employees feel trusted, empowered, and connected. A few standout strengths include:

  • A culture of empowerment where staff feel trusted to perform their roles effectively, leading to a 7% improvement from 2022

  • Enhanced teamwork, with collaboration and mutual respect scoring favourably
