National Safety & Security Watch Group Award Ceremony 2024
For the second consecutive time, JurongHealth Campus (JHC) has once again achieved an exceptional milestone by winning the Safety and Security Watch Group (SSWG) Outstanding Individual Award. This national recognition underscores our commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our hospital premises and those within.

The award, introduced in 2009, is a prestigious biennial honor that acknowledges outstanding efforts by members of the SSWG in maintaining high standards of safety and security.
The security team was put through a more thorough review as the judging criteria was much stricter this year.
No stone was left unturned as every part of JHC’s security process was examined and scrutinized from its security measures, documentation, to on-the-ground practices, to ensure safety standards were of the highest level.
JHC is proud to represent the National University Health System (NUHS) alongside National University Hospital (NUH) and Alexandra Hospital (AH), which received the Individual Award and Commendation Award respectively.

JHC will be one of only four organizations selected for a media interview during the award ceremony on 27 December 2024, with our Chief Operating Officer, Ng Kian Swan, leading the presentation. This rare opportunity allows us to showcase how JHC, alongside other NUHS institutions, continually enhances the safety and security of our premises to safeguard patients, staff, and visitors.

The event will also be attended by Ms. Sun Xueling, Minister of State for the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Social and Family Development, underscoring the importance of the occasion.
Winning this award not only affirms our team’s dedication but also sets a high benchmark for the future. As we celebrate this achievement, we remain committed to advancing our safety and security measures, ensuring a safe environment for everyone at JHC.
